They Can Recall Me Anytime — And That’s Exactly the Point
I am currently on licence conditions for 4.5 years. That means I can be recalled to prison at any time — without a trial, without a charge, and without warning.
This isn’t just a technical condition. It’s a weapon.
It means every complaint I make, every truth I speak, every time I write a sentence like this — it could be interpreted as “risk.”
Not risk of violence.
Not risk to the public.
But risk to the comfort of the institutions that failed me.
For over four years, I was silenced by the courts, manipulated by probation officers, misrepresented in reports, and denied basic human rights — including housing.
Now that I speak up, I’m not just someone with a voice.
I’m someone they see as a problem.
I live with that threat every day.
And I’m not alone.
Thousands of people — especially men falsely accused — are released under licence with invisible chains:
Say too much? Risk.
Complain too loudly? Risk.
Ask for justice? Risk.
I don’t write this because I want sympathy.
I write it because it’s the truth.
And TruthReclaimed was built for exactly this:
To document what’s really happening.
To speak where they can’t interrupt.
To show that I will not disappear — even if they want me to.
If they recall me, let the record show:
I said nothing unlawful.
I said nothing violent.
I told the truth.
If you’re reading this, and you’re under licence too, know this:
You still have a voice. You still have rights. You still have power — especially when we speak together.
