👤 Basic Details

🧱 What Happened

In January 2017, following an argument, my wife (ET) called 999 and made a series of false allegations against me, including three counts of rape.

She was moved to a women’s shelter shortly after. But within a few months, she reinitiated contact and we resumed the relationship. During this time, I learned that both police and social services had been pressuring her. They allegedly threatened to take the children away if she refused to pursue charges.

She resisted. She stayed.
But the damage was already unfolding.

🚔 Arrest & First Investigation

I was arrested by Northamptonshire Police.

After 7 months of investigation, I received an official letter stating that the case was closed with “no further action.”
We were allowed to move on. Or so I thought.

🔁 Second Allegation & Escalation

In December 2018, following another argument, ET made a second complaint. This time, the police convinced her to proceed with formal charges:

  • Three counts of rape

  • One count of coercive and controlling behaviour

What followed was three years of investigation.

Despite a lack of physical evidence and pressure-based witness statements, I was sent to trial at Northamptonshire Crown Court.

⚖️ The Trial & Conviction

In 2022, I was convicted of one count of coercive and controlling behaviour.
The rape charges were dismissed.

I was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison.
Although the law typically allows early release after half the sentence, I served the full term.

✈️ Deportation & Total Loss

In 2024, immediately upon release, I was deported to Hungary.

  • I have been denied access to Family Court.

  • I have been blocked from seeing my children, who remain in the UK.

  • My criminal conviction has been used as a justification to strip me of all parental rights.

  • I lost my home, my job, my children, and my UK residency.

  • I was never allowed to appeal properly or present critical evidence in my defence.

💬 Final Statement

“They took everything from me. I was treated like a criminal before I was ever convicted. And when the evidence didn’t support their case, they just kept pushing — until they found something that would stick. They used the family court system to destroy my relationship with my children. And then they sent me away.”

🛡️ Note: Mr. Stari was not convicted of any sexual offence. The charges were dismissed, and his conviction was solely for coercive and controlling behaviour.
