They Never Called Back: My 3-Year Battle with Commons Legal
When a law firm claims to stand for justice—but can’t even return a phone call.
For three years, I tried to get help from Commons Law Community Interest Company—a firm that promotes itself as a public interest legal organisation fighting for justice.
What I got instead was silence.
No answers. No calls back. No respect.
📞 The Pattern Was Clear
Despite sending multiple emails, making repeated phone calls, and even managing to speak with someone on rare occasions, my inquiries were ignored. The few times I did get through, I was met with rude, dismissive behaviour that had no place in a firm claiming to serve vulnerable people.
I wasn’t asking for miracles.
I was asking for clarity, support, and honesty.
But I was treated like a burden—like I didn’t matter.
📩 My Formal Complaint
After three years of disrespect, I wrote a formal complaint. Here’s what I said:
“Despite repeated attempts to reach out, my inquiries have been consistently ignored, and phone calls have gone unanswered. On the rare occasions I managed to speak with someone, the interactions were unprofessional and unnecessarily rude.”

🤝 What I Expected vs What I Got
I expected:
Communication
Professionalism
Integrity
What I got:
Silence
Disrespect
Delay
And now I’m left wondering:
How many others have experienced the same from Commons Legal—but stayed silent?
📢 I Won’t Be Silent Anymore
I built this platform—TruthReclaimed—so the mistreatment would no longer stay hidden. I refuse to let legal firms or charities hide behind good branding while ignoring the people they claim to help.
If Commons Legal failed you too, I invite you to speak out.
