Silhouetted courtroom fades into a web browser warning symbol, symbolizing public shaming from false allegations.

From the Courtroom to the Internet: How False Allegations Become Public Executions

⚠️ What the CPS did to me in court… is now being done online by sites like Red Rose UK. Same script. Same outcome. No trial needed.

In 2021, I stood trial for something I did not do. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) didn’t prove their case—they didn’t need to. They turned a courtroom into a theatre and asked the jury not to weigh evidence, but to “protect the neighbour.”

Today, I see the exact same script being played out online by websites like Red Rose UK, where people are branded as “abusers” based on unverified claims and public fear.

What Happened to Me

The CPS didn’t ask the jury to consider facts. They asked them to feel fear. To err on the side of emotion. To condemn without proof.

The judge remarked, “This guy stood by what he said in the police… in court,” as if my consistency in telling the truth was suspicious. In doing so, he influenced the jury to distrust me, not based on contradiction, but on the audacity of standing by my word.

I wasn’t convicted by evidence. I was convicted by narrative.

What Red Rose Is Doing

Red Rose UK publishes names, photos, and accusations of alleged “abusers”. There is no courtroom. No cross-examination. No trial.

Only accusation.

They disclaim responsibility with a carefully crafted line:

“Information is collected from public sources and is accurate to the best of our knowledge.”

It might shield them legally—but not morally.

Behind every name is a person. And behind every unproven accusation, a destroyed life.

Same Weapon. New Arena.

In the courtroom, it’s called prosecutorial strategy.

Online, it’s called public awareness.

But the result is the same:

  • Judgment without proof.
  • Exile without defence.
  • A digital pillory where the accused can’t even face their accuser.

The Real Victims

False allegations don’t just harm individuals.

They corrupt the system.

They poison the public trust in real victims.

They silence those who have suffered real abuse—because eventually, no one knows who to believe.

“If we allow accusations to replace evidence, then anyone can be destroyed. And eventually, everyone will be.”

I Refuse to Be Silent

Whether it comes from a courtroom or a .co.uk domain, false allegations are the modern executioner. They don’t ask for facts. They only demand silence.

And I refuse to be silent.
